Throughout his career, Mark has worked at the intersection of business investment, public policy, incentives, and community development. His experience includes leadership and consulting roles with Ernst & Young and RSM, as well as executive positions spanning economic development, real estate, capital markets, and nonprofit organizations. He has helped advance major development and investment initiatives involving billions of dollars in capital investment and complex public-private partnerships. Mark holds a B.A. in Communications from Indiana University–Bloomington and an MBA from Anderson University and has been active in economic development organizations in Texas, Indiana, and Michigan. His professional perspective is grounded in a simple principle: successful economic development is ultimately about more than projects and investment—it is about creating jobs, expanding the tax base, strengthening communities, and improving quality of life.
